Rolls Royce Spectre 2024 Review
Here's the truth about Rolls Royce, that the auto-journalist-influencer tribe will never tell you. Rolls Royce's days are numbered. Roller's all-electric Spectre, is five hundred percent more expensive than the Tesla Cybertruck, and yet, has a twenty percent smaller battery. Performance is also inferior to the Cybertruck, and the size, as well as the weight, are more-or-less equal. Making super-silent, and vibe-free petrol-cars, used to be their main shtick. And back in the internal-combustion-era, making any car super-silent and super-smooth, did require a lot of hard-work indeed! But when it comes to electric, all Electric Powertrains are inherently more silent and vibe-free than Roller's best efforts, till date! Agreed, that Rolls Royce can still teach the Teslas of this world, a thing or two about controlling road-noise and wind-noise. Plus, Rolls is still top-dog, when it comes to other refinements like, their much-touted, magic-carpet ride quality. But in terms of sheer specification and engineering, they are nowhere even close, to an EV-first manufacturer like Tesla, except for the gimmicks! Think about it. Apart from gimmicks like the starlit roof, the suicide-doors and that retracting spirit of ecstasy, is there even a single substantiative advantage that Rolls Royce exhibits in the electric era?
