BYD YangWang U8 vs Cybertruck Tesla
The biggest problem with the Cybertruck is still going to be range-anxiety. The real-world-range of the cybertruck, is going to be just four-hundred kilometers or two-seventy-five miles and that is simply not enough. If Elon wasn't so damn adamant on pure-EV vehicles, the Cybertruck would have easily had a thousand kilometer or six hundred mile range like the BYD Yangwang U-eight. The chinese have proven yet again that they are the least adamant car manufacturers in the World, compared to the Germans, the Japanese, the Brits and especially, the Americans! BYD has nailed it with the Yangwang U8 SUV. Think of it this way, if the U8 was branded as a Tesla and the Cybertruck was branded as a Yangwang, there would be much more orders for the Tesla compared to Cybertruck's current order-book! What BYD has done is added a two-liter petrol engine on top of a generous forty-nine kilo-watt-hour battery to achieve a mind-blowing, thousand kilometer range. Agreed that it is fifty thousand dollars more expensive than the range-topping Cyberbeast and is a wee-bit smaller as well. Even the performance is a little slower, but its features are simply unheard of in the automotive world
